Samba allow access to all on 192.168.*.*
Okay, so I'm setting up a simple Samba server so I can share several files at LANs I have with my friends, and ones I host at my school. This way, everyone can get their patches/nocds etc. from one spot. I've already set up an AFP share (my friend is Mac-Only at the moment as is the rest of my house) but I'm having some trouble making the Samba work how I want it to. I have it set to allow guests access to a certain share, however, when Windows tries to connect, it must try using the name of the current user, and it gets denied. (I can access it on OS X, but I HAVE to remove whatever name was in the User field, otherwise I get the same message, something to the effect of Access Denied). How can I make the share accessable to ANYONE? I've looked through the man pages and whatnot, and it only seems to tell me how to allow it for certain users, which, if I'm at a LAN, I don't want to have to go through and add everyone. Thanks for the help!
