Samba addressing error, so damn close.

Okay,

My Samba is up and running on SuSE 9.1 Pro. I can access Linux shares on WinXP and can access Windows drives on Linux through Konqueror. Now I need to mount drives to the have access to copying certain files onto my Linux machine. The problem is the only program I've got to work and allow read/write access to Windows files is Konqeror, I've tried smb4k and that doesn't work all together and I've tried LinNeighborhood, this works but when I click on mount it comes up and says theres and addressing error; when I right-click the Win Share and say view computer info, there are bits of missing information such as the comps IP address, was I meant to store this information somewhere for the Lnux comp to read? Anyways, in the end I need to be able to mount the shares in the shell, because it will be made into a batch job run with a script, I have tried many ways of mounting drives in shell, and if I can read/write Windows files in Konqueror I can do it in shell, right? ahhhh I don't know, help

this command will mount the //hostname/share to your local directory called /localpath.

mount -t smbfs -o username=bologny,password=biteme //hostname/share /localpath
