Samba

Hi

I got this error with Samba:

smbd/service.c:make_connection(589)

[2003/01/24 19:58:45, 0] smbd/service.c:make_connection(589)
mastaofdisasta (xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx) Can't change directory to /home/ftp (Permission denied)

Here is my smb conf:
[global]
workgroup = WORKGROUP
server string = MoDServer
security = SHARE
guest account = ftp
guest ok = Yes

[test]
comment = For testing only, please
path = /home/ftp
read only = No
guest only = Yes
guest ok = No

And dont know why this doesn't work, because, the folder /home/ftp has 777 chmod and the owner is ftp too!

who can help me ?

ps.: sorry for my english skill

I think
guest only = yes
and
guest ok= no
are mutually exclusive. you just told samba that only guests can get in but guests are not ok. Try taking one or the other of those two lines out.

I would try something along the lines of this:

[global]
workgroup = WORKGROUP
server string = MoDServer
security = share
guest account = ftp

[test]
comment = For testing only, please
path = /home/ftp
guest ok = yes
writeable = yes

Also, and this may be way off, I would change users. The FTP user comes by default with /sbin/nologin as a shell. Don't know if that could mess anything up but its worth a shot.
