samba


everytime i try to browse my linux boxx from the network in windows it ask for a password, is there a default password or something, i tried the password of the user that owns the path, in this case cpu, and root's password. how can i get into my computer??
BTW here is my smb.conf file.

[global]
netbios name = BIGSERVER
workgroup = WORKGROUP
log level = 2
log file = /usr/local/samba/var/samba.log
security = share

[root]
path = /home/cpu/
browseable = yes
read only = no
