Samba 3 and multiple NIC
 

Hi!

Has anyone played around with load sharing and samba. I'm using this quite some time, but with samba v3 things started to go wrong. I set up RH9 server so that:
-I put 4 NIC cards with ips 192.168.1.1, ..2, ...3, ...4
-even use "bind interfaces only" in smb.conf (to exclude public nic)
-setup iptables to send out to local net every packet through different NIC

with samba up to 2.2.8a no problem, but when I installed samba v3, strange things happen. I.E. Autocad wouldn't open file if its read only ( it simply says no such file or directory) some programs are keep making .tmp files.

Any suggestions, where should i proceed?

btw, it really works fast I can get up to 10MB/s download to workstation with 100Mb ethernet, tell me if one can beat that
