Samba 2.2 PDC AND Win 2k

I upgraded one machine to run win 2k and set it up to join the domain on Mandrake 8.2 Samba PDC without any problems. (I used root to do this in windows). But when I try to log in to the domain from win 2k, I get this message:

The system cannot log you on to this domain because the systems computer account in its primary domain is missing or the password on that account is incorrect.

I even deleted the machine and smbpasswd and re-created it. What's going on ? My win 98 machine logs on fine.

Thank in advance
