Samba 2.2 and Windows 2003

I know Windows 2003 has implemented digital signing which is preventing me from mounting a harddrive onto a Linux box (running Samba 2.2).
I have disabled Digital Signing on the W2003 server but I am still unable to mount the drive (I am able to mount it running Samba 3)

Anyone know if is possible to mount the drive using Samba 2.2?

Thanks in advance.

I found some information where a Linux box runing Samba 2.2.3 would be able to join a Windows 2003 domain if digital signing were turned off but I have not been able to find any information regarding mounting a Win 2003 harddrive to Samba 2.2

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks (again).
