First of all, is this "linux 7.3" a Redhat linux 7.3?
If so I can help you.

- type:
service --status-all

and see if smb and nbd are running.

- Post your /etc/samba/smb.conf in here

Did you created samba users?

try:
smbclient -L \\computername
you will be asked for the samba user password.

For now these are good recomendations, anotehr good one is to search this forum for samba configuration.
