Angry running DHCPD as non-root (RH 8.0)

Hello all,

I am running dhcpd 3.0 on RH 8.0. I require that dhcpd be started and stopped from a non super-user.

I found a patch at:

Apparently this patch works from what i have seen in the maillists.

Howerver, the instructions are spotty at best (i am not a developer), and I am lost as to how to successfully install this patch.

Are there any guru's that can help me?
