RTL8111/8168B PCI not working

Hello Team,

Can anyone help me out with the following issue, i'm not able to connect to internet using my RTL8111/8168B PCI ethernet card. I've tried all the steps downloaded the new drivers available on realtek website & tried to ./autorun.sh from terminal. It shows some messages saying unload the previous driver & then it shows execiting the /lib/***** i don't remember the path exactly.

How to do sort out this issue..please help me out guyz..

Hi,

Could you please type these commands and post the outputs?

lspci | grep -i net
iwconfig

Thanks

Since this is not a wireless card the correct command would be ifconfig and not iwconfig.

@ragatinavin: The RTL8111/8168B should be supported out of the box with any recent distributions, I am using it myself on Slackware 13.37 and also had no problems with Debian and Arch. Which distribution in which version are you using?
