Routing Configuration

Greetings!!

I have two network cards on a single SuSE 8.1 machine. Long story short, I need to route traffic from one NIC to the other. One is internal the other is external network connection.

I am very ignorant when it comes to routing tables, etc, espcially in Linux. Any help would be appreciated.

NIC 1 IP: 10.158.0.1
NIC 2 IP: 192.168.0.1

As root type

#route

or #netstat -rn

And give the output.

Cheers--
Charles

The output of #route is below:

Kernel IP routing table
Destination - Gateway - Genmask - Flags - MSS - Window - irtt - Itface
68.xxx.xxx.192 - 0.0.0.0 - 255.255.255.192 - U - 40 - 0 - 0 - eth1
192.168.0.0 - 0.0.0.0 - 255.255.0.0 - U - 40 - 0 - 0 - eth0
0.0.0.0 - 68.xxx.xxx.193 - 0.0.0.0 - UG - 40 - 0 - 0 - eth

I appreciate your response. Sorry about the format. It would not take spaces to seperate the info into a table. Dashes seperate the vaules for the table.
