Routes, Intranet, and Internet

I'm running a Fedora box and it's doing some server stuff. I have two NICs and I was wondering how to set it up so I can connect to the local router with one card and directly to the internet with the other and not have them interfere with each other (ie, in web browsing & server stuff use the direct connection unless I'm connecting to a 192.168 address)

Instruction?

Thanks.
Ian

There are quite a few instructional sites on the Internet that cover this topic. A modest example is on my website here: http://www.digitalelephant.org/compu...net_basic.html

This tutorial will take you through all the steps to set up a Linux box as a boundary machine, one that has one foot in the public Internet, and the other in your private network.
