Router with multiple gateways

Hi guys and gals, I got a redhat 9 box with 3NIC's. Ist NIC is for the LAN and the other 2 are gateways to the ISP. Right now i noticed that all the outgoign traffic is going through one NIC. THe other is not used at all. DOes anyone have any experience with this? I would like to split the outgoing traffic through both interfaces. Wonder if this is possible? I also have a squid proxy running on the server.
Any help is appriciated.

regards
edmund

edmund,

Try http://www.lartc.org/ specifically http://lartc.org/howto/lartc.loadshare.html
You'll have to talk to your ISP to get it to work both ways

Good Luck,
chris

Thanks for the links, unfortunately I cant actually put that to use.
Firstly, my ISP are running Cisco routers. Secondy, our main objective is to distribute the load over 2 separate links to the internet. I just need to split the amount of traffic over both links. This would mainly be web traffic.
