Router Recommendation

I am a small business/web-email hosting and I was looking for advice in purchasing a router. I was looking at different cisco models, but am unsure of exactly what I need. We have a budget of about $1000 for one. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

..and what do you want this router to do? Router come in an almost infinite number of configurations / options etc. What is your internet connection going to be?

Hi - you could probably save yourself some money & set up a machine running linux to forward packets - ie act as a router. Whether this is appropriate for you might depend on the number of machines that are on your lan.
