Router causing uneven speeds
I just recently set up a hub/router to share an interconnection between a linux computer and a windows one. The window comp would get the same speed as if were connected directly to the modem but the linux box becomes slower than dial-up. Its normal if linux is connected directly to the modem. also the linux box is connected to the router with a 30 foot long cable, i dont know if thats why its slow.
