Unhappy RHEL / Unable to configure VPN

Hi All,

New to RH. Could someone please point me in the right direction for installing/configuring a VPN connection on my new system.

I have followed the "how-to" here : https://access.redhat.com/documentat...onnection.html

However, when presented with the options, expecting to see "pptp" in step six (i have installed the only pptp package available from RH repos), all i see is "Import from file..."

What am I missing?

Kind regards.

How do you install NetworkManager plugin for VPN? It should be like this.
1)Enable epel source before you install related packages
Quote:
wget http://download.fedoraproject.org/pu...6-8.noarch.rpm
rpm -ivh epel-release-6-8.noarch.rpm
2)Install related packages
Quote:
#yum -y install ppp
#yum -y install pptp
#yum -y install vpnc
#yum -y install openvpn
#yum install pptp NetworkManager-pptp* -y
#yum install pptp NetworkManager-vpnc* -y
#yum install pptp NetworkManager-openvpn* -y
#yum install NetworkManager* -y
