RHEL installation on windows VMWare 7

I am trying to install RHEL x86_64-bit OS on Windows VMware7 but through an error, x86 CPU not support 64-bit OS. Even I changed Visualization option from Bios and Check the mark in processor tab in VMware software as well. Can anyone suggest.

2q. Unable to reinstall VMware.
Error: 'c:\Users\star\AppData\Local\Temp\vmware_1450469070\vmware workstation.msi' failed.
Setup has detected that VMware Workstation is already installed on this machine. Please uninstall this product through the Control Panel and try again.

But I coudn't find VMware in Control Panel nor any file realted to VMware, still ask to uninstalled. suggests me.

First, you're using Windows, VMware, and RHEL...ALL of these are products you need to PAY FOR, and when you pay for them, you get support. Secondly, you run "Control Panel" in Windows, then uninstall a program..one of them listed should be VMWare.

Most importantly...we will suggest you contact VMware support for help with this pay-for product. Have you done so?

I don't understand this. Through an error? What error? Do you have a 64-bit processor? Are you running a 64-bit version of Windows? Did you install a 64-bit version of VMWare?

None of your questions in this thread are Linux-related, so I don't understand why you're asking for help here, on a Linux forum, and I really don't understand why you chose to put your thread in the "Linux - Networking" section.

Also, if this is for personal use, why did you choose non-free virtualization software and a non-free Linux distribution? Both of those require payment and come with support, so if you need assistance, you should contact support.

VMWare -> VirtualBox
RHEL -> CentOS

both those options are free

Alternatively, grab a live linux distro and boot from that.

if you can not use google
OR
can not be even bothered to do ANY research on your own for something SO SIMPLE!!!
as searching for "CentOS 6.7" ( or the current 7.1) and "VirtualBox"

you need a lot more than "personal practice"

you need to finish the 5th grade first

And ABSOLUTELY NONE of that matters. Commercial products = PAY FOR THEM, PERIOD.

...and that's a Windows related issue, isn't it? You could just also delete the directory where it was installed, but I HIGHLY doubt that the program isn't listed somewhere in the Windows add/remove applet under control panel.

Read the "Question Guidelines" link in my posting signature. DO NOT ask people to look things up for you...you can easily look on Google for links yourself. If you need something 'suitable for practice', we're going to assume this is for you to get a 'certification'...if you can't be bothered to learn how to look things up, how do you think your education will go later on?

A brief search on this very site will bring up thousands of threads, telling people to use CentOS instead of RHEL, if they're not going to pay. Also, you'd find things related to virtualbox instead of VMware workstation.

...which comes pre-installed (or on the install media) with Linux.
