RHEL 6 - Why makedbbm for NIS Server does not create <map>.dir and <map>.pag

On RHEL 6 I have successfully created the NIS Master. However when I do a ypcat -k auto.jccad to view the map I notice the 3rd column [a400sa04:/&] is missing. When I look into /var/yp/domain.com I notice the <map>.dir and <map>,pag files do not exist and I'm not sure if this is the problem. I assume this column that is missing is the reason I cannot automount on the client.

- Does Linux not require the pag a dir files?
- If it does why are they not being generated?

1) 3rd Column missing:

Source:

data -rw,intr,hard a400sa04:/&

map:
ypcat -k auto.jccad

data -rw,intr,hard

2) /var/yp/domainname (No pag and dir files) like in sun and AIX

cd /var/yp/plynis.com
ls -1

auto.jccad.time
auto.master.time
group.bygid
group.byname
hosts.byaddr
hosts.byname
netmasks.byaddr
passwd.byname
passwd.byuid
rpc.byname
rpc.bynumber
ypservers

Thanks for any help
