Unhappy RH7.3, Eth0 and firewall

When I installed RH7.3 I selected Eth0 as NOT to be trusted by the firewall rules. I selected Medium and default options.

How to change the rules of the firewall so the NIC will "talk" to the rest of the O/S.
I checked the "Firewall options" (mini application) but I could not see an option to add the NIC. BTW- I also want to add the Modem.

I checked Iptables - I'm sure that's the wrong spot.

Talking I got it.

I found the RH setup Util and re-ran; changing the eth0/firewall trust.

....sorted.

BTW- I learnt a lot about iptables and ipchains in the process though........

the actual file is in /etc/sysconfig/iptables

look at the rules there

the file works along with iptables-save
