Question RH6.2 slow network/how can I speed up?

I am on a 100Mb hub. But my backup and transfer rates are extremely slow compared to my RH7.3 and 8.0 boxes. I'm not very familiar with 6.2 ethernet tools. I use the mii-tool for 7.3 and 8.0 to force the 100Mb during boot.

Does 6.2 have some tools that I can use to maximize my network card? I've been going thru the CD's which I just happened to find.

Any help is appreciated.

Regards! j-me

RH6.2 slow network

I to am using RH 6.2 on a firewall router with a 100mb NIC.

This system all of a sudden became slow. It was the NIC that shifted into 10mb mode.

Are you certain that yor NIC is working properly?
