RH 9, Mac OS 9.2 Ethernet
 

I have an iBook (the blue one) running Mac OS 9.2 and a Packard Bell Easy Note running RH 9.0. I would like to make the two of them to transfert files through Ethernet. Could any one tell me how to configurate each computer so as to do this? I have a RJ45 Cable and an adaptor to cross it. I have already connected my Mac to another Mac so the Ethernet card works and the Card on my PC is detected so I think I have all I need to connect. ould someone please help me.

Set the IP's manually (i.e., not DHCP) and make sure they're on the same subnet. Then just use FTP or whatever means of file transfer that you prefer.
