Here you can see my .htaccess:
RewriteEngine On
Options -Indexes
Options FollowSymLinks
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^www\.(.+)$ [NC]
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://%1/$1 [R=301,L]
RewriteBase /
RewriteRule ^client_area$ clientarea.php
The problem is that clientarea.php loads on https, not on http. Whenever I enter from
http://mywebsite.com/index.php to
https://mywebsite.com/client_area it redicters to
https://mywebsite.com/clientarea.php.
Whenever I enter from
https://mywebsite.com/clientarea.php to
https://mywebsite.com/client_area it stays as this.
So the problem is that when I enter from http to https with my RewriteRule it won't rewrite the URL. I need to enter from http to http or from https to https for rewrite to work.
Anyone could help me with this, so rewrite works from https to http and from http to https?
