Restarting ADSL Connection Automatically

Hello,

This my first post to this forum.
My distro is SipmplyMepis 6.0
I am connected to the internet by a speedtouch-usb modem via PPPoA.
I am connected at bootup by Steve Parker's speedtouchconf script.
The problem is how can I reconnect automatically when my adsl is down.
I can now do it manually by typing "pkill pppd" then "pppd call adsl" in a console at root.
It is a bit of a pain when you are downloading a large file and the connection goes midway.

Thanks

if you use system-config-network to set up your ADSL connection you will be able to startt and restart easily with it.

It should be there in your menu, or you can install it.
