resolv.conf is rewritten on startup

Hi guys,

I setup the dns service a few weeks ago and everything has been running really good. Now I have had to reboot the server and I've noticed the resolv.conf does not have the Local DNS server in it anymore. It seems that the dhcp client on eth1 rewrites this on starup. So basically what I want to know is how do I insert my local dns server address at the top of the config file

I use slackware 9.0

Cheers all :)

in your /etc/rc.d/rc.inet1 file, find the line that calls dhcpcd and pass it the -R option.

BTW, man is great :)
