Replace PXE boot output with a logo
I have a diskless machine pxe booting from an Ubuntu 10.04 PC.
Is it possible to replace the bootup text displayed to the screen while pxe booting with a picture. For example when Centos boots up you see a blue screen with a loading bar instead of all the text startup messages - I want to do the same with my diskless machine - it doent have to be as fancy, just a simple picture will be fine but bonus points if I can get a loading bar. If it is possible if someone can point me in the right direction that will be fantastic. Cheers in advance. |
I notice Ubuntu uses Plymouth https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Plymouth for its loader I wonder if I can use that on my PXE machines?
