Removing Samba?
 
How do i remove samba from my RH9 box? I had some trouble with it, and deleted the samba folder in /etc and am trying to re-install it but it keeps saying its already installed.

So how do i remove it?

You can try the -F (freshen) or -U (upgrade) options in the rpm command rather than -i (install).

rpm -Fvh samba_package.rpm
