Remove Samba From RH 9 so I can install 3.0x

Hi, everyone.
I am trying to setup my Samba server again, but I can not remove the RH installed version of samba so I can install 3.0.
It keeps coming saying there is a conflict when I try to install 3.0x
I want to remove Samba completly then install 3 fresh and clean.

use rpm -e packagename to uninstall a package. Note that packagename is NOT the filename... just the name of the program without the version, architecture, and .rpm

You can get the package name exactly by running rpm -qa | grep samba
