Remote office can't connect to Redhat 7.3 server using new IP block from ISP
We recently setup DSL service at a remote office. Everything was going fine until we changed over to static IP's. Our ISP gave us a block of IP's that have never been used before. Now we can't connect to our mail server. Both firewalls are configured correctly. I spoke with the ISP and they said that there have been problems when servers don't recognize the new address block and need to be updated. I am trying to update our server but am failling miserably. I can connect to the other three servers but not our mail server.
The problem is only encountered when trying to connect from the remote office with the new IP address block. I can connect just fine from anywhere else.
Has anyone else come across this?
My remote users are getting pretty ticked.
