remote login to windows server

Ok, I just set up mandrake 10.1 CE, and i want to know if theres a way to set it up to login to my windows network. By "login" I mean when Linux boots, it should present the user with a dialog that asks for a username and password, this username/password are verified by the windows server, and once your login is verified it should mount your user space (every user on the system has his own private folder on the server). Can this be done?

it's not that simple, but very very possible. I'm not sure where user home drives come into it, but the actual authentication can be done via pam. These links should get you started.
