Question remote login to hp-ux from linux

I have a network of machines running HP-UX 10.20. These workstations have no removable (writeable) drives. To remotely login inbetween them I use rlogin/rexec etc.
I have some Linux machines which are unable to use rlogin, to remote between them I use ssh/scp etc.
I want to connect Linux machine to HP-UX network to copy some data.
Is there a way of getting the HP-UX machines to run ssh?

Natchurally, you CAN make it work.

You might try this:

to get openssh installed on your HP-UX machines. Far more secure than the r- utils.

BTW: the r-utils ARE available for linux, and r-logon server can be enabled, but I recommend against it. The r-utils are not only insecure, but mostly incompatible with most modern pam functions: making newer authorization use questionable or problematic in that combination.

I'd wonder why rlogin doesn't work.

But, it would be best to be most secure on all the remote access.

TOTALLY off topic...

It is time to petition all wind generator users to investigate ways to avoid so many bird deaths.

I freely have suggested small LED's in foils of generators to the US Fish and Wildlife but they have refused to do any tests.
LED's in the range of IR and UV may more readily attract the attention of birds. Green power should be green, not killing off birds.
Check out the experiments on no-blade wind generators. In Europe there are experiments using drip-loops in the wind, as the water rips off it carries a charge. It takes water, and more (cheaper) loops than rotor blades to generate the same power, but there are NO MOVING PARTS! Nothing to damage the wildlife! And it humidifies the area downwind slightly, which can be excellent for people, plants, and wildlife down range.
