remote desktop connection from out-of-the-box XP to linux

Is it possible to bring the desktop of a Linux box on an out-of-the-box windows XP PC? What I am trying to do is to bring my KDE desktop on XP without installing anything on the XP PC... (imagine it is a corporate PC or a net-cafe PC where the user cannot install anything...).

I have found several ways to achieve a remote desktop connection from XP to Linux but they require a client to be installed on the XP machine.

Is there anything like a "remote desktop connection" server for Linux that would allow the XP build in client to connect and bring the Linux desktop on screen? Or do you know any application client (that does not need installation on XP) that can do the job? (Of course I can configure my Linux box as required).

Any help would be highly appreciated, thank you in advance!

vnc servers often offer a java based web client on port 5900 (i think that's the right number for :0) which mean you have no client to install, just an applet from a web page.
