Thumbs up Remote Boot in Linux

Hi Guys,

I have one Suse Linux Enterprise Server Version 9 we called as a SLES 9. and we have total 10 Desktops with Windows (98/XP) versions. I want to do simple linux boot system.
When I start my SLES 9 my other 10 Desktops should boot from Linux i.e. remote boot.
Is it possible to do remote boot. without using PXE Bootrom or with doing any floppy/CD image.

Appreciate your help.

Thanks,

Anand.

how do you propose to make a system netboot without using anything to make it know to look towards the network? you need PXE or something... they aren't psychic.

Hi,

Thanks for your reply.

I have configured LTSP 4.1 here but I don't have PXE .
So what you would suggest on this issue ?
Should I make boot image on CD/Flopply ????

Thanks,

Anand.
