Remote Access to Windows Box

I am able to Remote Access from my Linux Box to FreeBSD and Solaris. How do you remote access to a Windows Box? I'm not sure what I have to do to the Windows box

I am running RedHat Enterprise 4 and Solaris 9

You need to enable Remote Desktop or Terminal Services (on Windows Server) - these both use RDP. On the UNIX side, use "rdesktop", or the "Terminal Server Client", which is a nicer interface to rdesktop.

Alternatively, install VNC on the Windows systems and then use the normal VNC client on UNIX.

Rdesktop works great, and uses the native Microsoft RDP protocol.

Remote desktop on a XP workstation only allows one connection and the user must have a password. When connected the local desktop is locked. Encryption by default is not enabled. You can find instructions easily via googling.
