Register DNS


I bought a domain name and now i wanna make the DNS with the same name line ns1.domain.com how do i do it and do i have to register them

Check whether your Domain registrar can host your DNS records. Most include this in the cost.

If you still want to host the DNS server on your Linux system,

edit the ns records at the registrar to point to your linux system.

edit /etc/named.conf and you will need to create DNS databases in /var/named/.
