regarding sync packets


which command we have to use to watch the sync packet numbers, while running the client and server programms on linux machine.can any body help me........

WireShark (used to be called Ethereal) provides you with a full function sniffer application.

about sync packets and flags

i think in linux machine there is one command to see the sync packes and flags .the number is to be like this 10000000000000002354(not exact like this).how to see the synchronisation packet numbers .By using the ehereal we can observe but in linux machine how we can watch it.
