Regarding sockets

Hi,

I need to understand the socket implementation in the kernel level associated with tcp in particular. How can I start with? I am using kernel 2.6.5

Regards,
Arunachalam.

Hi

you can search in google for:
A Map of the Networking Code in Linux Kernel

It will give you something for 2.4 kernels. I don't think the socket mechanism changed so much in the 2.6.
Anyway its a good "introduction"
