Reducing the timeout duration for NFS Mount
Hello all,
My machine has several entries in the /etc/fstab related to NFS. When I reboot the machine and if the REMOTE NFS servers are not available, it takes lot of time for the machine to reboot. Is there a option that I can set in /etc/fstab to reduce the NFS timeout duration or any other option that can be used to get rid of this long startup time? |
nfs
check your settings in /etc/fstab of course and make sure you are set up right in there...here is a tuning section for mounting nfs that will help...
