Redhat as a proxy server and client

Hi,

I would like to replace a windows based proxy server with a linux based server. My local network is comprised of 50 workstations which are socksified, and pass the requests on to my proxy server, which also acts as a client, forwarding all requests to another proxy server at another location.

The server is running the Hummingbird socks client to pass the requests forward, and is running AnalogX's proxy server.

What would I have to do to get the linux box to act as both a proxy client and a server?

Thanks in advance,
Jason

a piece of software called squid. i've never used it but i know it is what most people use to run a proxy server.
