Redhat 9 with the IBM Centrino

Does anyone really know if this chip works?
I am intested in buying a new laptop, with this processor in it, but i did want to know what the general opinion of this processor was. I think it might be easier than trying to get my WIFI card working (again) and another laptop.
Any insite?

Er... have you actually looked on the IBM site... ?

They are activley supporting Linux and have done for a few years..

Best bet (if you havn't already) would be to look at their site and let us know if it is not there.. i can call IBM for you and find out.
