I have the misfortune of being the only Linux fan on this site. Would like to convert some of the others. However I cann't figure out how to receive or collect mail form a MS Exchange Server. As much of our comunication is done via this medium. If I cann't get this to work, I may aswell consider Linux beyond use, as I want to use it fulltime instead of short forays during lunch hour etc.

Does anyone have an idea of how to do this? Linux is Redhat 8.0 and Exchange is 5.5. I understand that the protocols are SMTP and POP. As you can see I wading into waters I know very little about, databases are more my field.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

try ximian's evolution with their extra exchange plugin.

OWA and/or a POP3 client should work also.
