Redhat 7.2 and Redhat 7.3 NAT,Netfilter and Iptsable

Heys guy,
I got a question. Last time, I setup LAN and Internet using Redhat7.3(my server) with 2 nics card. One is for LAN and another nic for Wan(internet). I referred the url below
According to the url, I had updated the lastest version kernel which was 2.4.17 and Netfilter and Iptables. Other than thaat, I have copied the firewall script to my server. Everything is worked fine.

My question is, I wanna to install another server by using Redhat 7.3 setup same thing. I don't think i need to patch kernel since is update to day. What about Netfilfer and Iptables? Do I need to install it? Or just go ahead configure it without install Netfilter and Iptables. Thank you guys...have a nice day

depends on your install but you should normally already have it. If it needs updating then using up2date will take care of it
