RedHat 7.1 linux intranet mail server
 

Hi

I was using Redhat6.2 and intanet mail server was running with
Pine package, now I upgraded to redhat 7.1. I configured outlook express in win client machine not able to send or recieve the mail.

Pls send the configuration step by step.

Reiqrements:-

One win2000 server
One linux redhat7.1 server
65 windows machine

I wanted to use internal mail server for inter office and I have to configure squid.

hi,

this has already been posted and dealt with.

anyways open /etc/mail/sendmail.mc

find the line which says DAEMON_OPTIONS(...)
and put a dnl at the start of that line.
then run
m4 /etc/mail/sendmail.mc > /etc/sendmail.cf


that should set up sendmail to accept connections
from the network.

if you want to relay mail read the sendmail faq on masquerading and relaying.
