Red Hat 7.2: Netowrk Configuration

Network newbie question follows...

I currently have a machine running Red Hat Linux 7.2. I'd like to get this machine on our company network, but am having difficulty configuring the network card.

KDE's network configuration tool currently lists my network card as:

Realtek RTL8139, SMC EZ Card Fast Ethernet

IRQ : unknown
MEM, IO, IO1, IO2, DMA0, DMA1 fields are blank

Can anyone tell me where I might find the necessary information to fill the above fields?

There are probably other network configuration issues to deal with aside from the above, but as an incentive for good quality help, I am in the position to offer free Windows NT hosting at http://www.hosting-online.co.uk/ for the person who helps me get this Linux machine up and running.

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Andy

If it already exists, have you given it an ip address and netmask yet?
If so, try
ifup eth0
from the command line and then
ifconfig
to check it's settings.

Peter
