I´m trying to configure a compaq Proliant DL360 G2 with RED HAT 7.0 but, it doesn´t recognize the installed ethernet card, i have downloaded the drivers, and still doesn´t work. Please HELP ME SOLVE THIS PROBLEM.

what's your ethernet card? Maybe you have to recompile your kernel so that your card will be supported.

I'm dealing with a similar problem, but with two NICs (see threat: Installing two NICs). The statement above makes me wonder if compiling the drivers into the kernel would force the cards to work... I've loaded the drivers as modules and they don't. Is there a difference?
