Recommended MTA Setup

I am interested in setting up a mail server to handle mail for multiple domains. I am currently doing research and would like advice.

First off, POP3, and SMTP must obviously be supported. It must have some sort of anti-spam measure (Is SpamAssassin adequate?), and a decent virus protection (Is ClamAv adequate?). It must be able to support sending and recieving mail from multiple domains.

Do you use sendmail, qmail, or postfix, or something altogether different?

Any help and recommendations would be appreciated.
Thanks
Matt.

I'm a longtime sendmail user and continue to use that on all my current computers. However, any new machines I setup I plan on using postfix. I've done a lot of testing with postfix and it's a lot easier to operate and also has many more "built-in" features that are lacking in sendmail.

I have just finished setting up Qmail with SpamAssassin and ClamAV. There are some great docs out there.

I've researched qmail setups for a long time, here are the 3 best links I've found.

www.qmailtoaster.com

http://www.tnpi.biz/internet/mail/toaster/

http://mirror.mricon.com/qvcs-guide/

They are in no particular order.
