Question Realtek NIC and Fedora 17 Wireless Connectivity

Hello Room - I own a Toshiba Satellite L675 i-3 processor - I recently installed Fedora 17 on a e-sata external hdd - Fedora came up fine & works perfectly trouble is I'm unable to connect to my at&t 2WIRE 3600HGV Router which is wireless - I checked the make of my laptops NIC it is a => Realtek RTL8188CE Wireless LAN 802.11n PCI-E NIC - basically a RTL8188CE model - unfortunately it appears Fedora 17 uses kernel version is 3.3.4 and when I looked up this NIC on Realtek's site it shows driver support for Linux on this particular model going only as high as 2.6.24 - Do any Linux geniuses on here have any suggestions as to what I should do ?? Here is the Realtek driver support page - note Fedora 17 see's the router but is unable to connect there is no byte transfer going on -

This is the Realtek driver support site

You have done this in half an hour.

You can write the solution here(If you want to).

It would be beneficial for future users.
