Realtek 8139D Install Ubuntu....


Hello guys,
I have been banging my head over a stupid
Ethernet Controller the REALTEK 8139D card.

lspci

0000:06:02.0 Ethernet controller: Unknown device 1904:2031 (rev 01)


Modprobe 8139too
and
Modprobe 8139cp

lsmod | grep 8139

8139cp 18432 0
8139too 23552 0
mii 5248 2 8139cp,8139too

but the same msg in LSPCI remains.


Please help me with this as I have to dual boot
everytime into Windows.

what do you expect to change on lspci? what is the dmesg output when you load the modules? if they are loaded they should have picked the card up, and it would normally be ready to configure.

I have found a driver which I want to compile..
