rdesktop keepalive

Hi All!

I get the following message after being idle for a while:
"disconnect: Server idle timeout reached"

and I am kicked out of the server to which I have connected via rdesktop version 1.5.0 in Debian with kernel 2.6.18-6-486 from the commandline.

Is there a way, on my end, to send keepalive packages or something to enable being idle without the being session being terminated?

Kind Regards,
Benny

This is not possible as the timeout is set from the server end. Unless you tunnel the rdp connection via ssh....

From what I can gather from other posts, this tunneling solution demands that I am able to physically access the remote (win) computer (with admin rights) to set up Putty or equivalent. Unfortunately, this is not possible for me but I appreciate the reply centosboy.
