rc.ipmasq issues

Ok, I've been trying to get this to work for a couple of days now. I'm running a SuSE 9.2 professional server with masquerading and I can not get it to share the internet for the life of me and I've never had this problem before.

I'm trying to share from a 56k connections. I have my LAN settings through eth0 all set on static (both sides). I can ping, and ssh through both machines. I have setup my SuSEfirewall2 with the Connection Sharing option. I have fully updated both machines. I also have a masquerading script setup.

This configuration works when I shut down the firewall, disconnect, reconnect and run my ./rc.ipmasq script. But I don't want to browse the internet without a firewall. Does anyone have any ideas? I don't know what else I can try.
