RAS with Eicon PCI card and E1 lines

I have a dual processor IBM eServer X Series machine on which I have loaded Red Hat Linux 7.3 and wish to use this system as a RAS. I have an Eicon RAS card installed and working properly.

I need to know how to go about deploying a RAS service which will allow a remote user to log on to my network. Is there some sort of RAS daemon that I need to start/install to allow me to set up this service.

On the net I was able to find information regarding PPP, but they always talked about having a modem connected to the serial port. I don't want to use a modem as I already have an E1 terminating on the RAS card.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks.....
